BEDB understands the methods and materials used in the construction of heritage buildings, and the capability of heritage buildings and their structural elements to be utilised for modern purposes.

Works include community housing as part of the Nation Building Economic Stimulus Plan, cluster housing for over 55's and residential retirement villages.
